Drive (or hike, ride, ski...) east up Logan's 1900 N into Green Canyon for beautiful nature and a few interesting features like a large cave/mine opening opposite the first picnic area, and a small cave (also on the left) a little farther up if you can spot it (just before the road grows slightly steeper).
Here's something fun - ROLLER COASTER RIDES in Green Canyon! Here's how:
1. Don't tell anyone what to expect.
2. Bring a lantern (or a bright/wide spotlight) to that big cave/mine at night.
3. Line everyone up along the front edge while you hold the light behind them, casting enormous shadows onto the far canyon wall.
4. Run back and forth with the light, lifting and lowering it, to make the shadows rise and fall, while participants raise their hands and scream as if they were riding a roller coaster.
