Search and Rescue does a lot of rescues on Mount Olympus, with many of them happening because hikers failed to bring enough water (or batteries for headlamps). Also because they lost the trail - did you know you can click on Utah Highways maps and see your location to help find your way?

Photos are from a rock climb up the north face - NOT the recommended route! It's too slabby to be a very fun climb, with very little pro, and WAYYYYY too exposed to solo.
